Our annual spring program is an "organized pick up game" each week. There are no practices during the week. It is essentially show up and play. We break up the players based on who is there each week.
Spring Pick-up will begin on Saturday, April 1 at Cardinal Stadium and will be held each Saturday through May 20.
Age Groups and Times:
U6-U7 (typically Grades K-1) 3:00pm to 4:00pm Ball Size #3
U8-U9 (typically Grades 2-3) 3:00pm to 4:00pm Ball Size #4
U10-U11 (typically Grades 4-5) 3:00pm to 4:00pm Ball Size #4
U12-U14 (typically Grades 6-8) 4:00pm to 5:00pm Ball Size #5
U15-U19 (typically Grades 9-12) 4:00pm to 5:00pm Ball Size #5
Please note that although the sessions are called at the top of the hour, actual playtime wont begin until 15-20 minutes after the hour and each session will last 1 hour.
All players must wear shinguards, bring a ball (see above for size requirement) and bring a filled water bottle.
The sessions are held at Cardinal Stadium. This is the high school stadium. The address is 800 Loch Alsh Avenue, Fort Washington, PA 19034.
This is a School District property and as such there are special rules for use. Signs are posted in the stadium. Please follow the rules. The three main rules we need to strictly adhere to:
1. There can be no liquids (such as Gatorade) other than water on the turf.
2. There can be food brough on to the turf.
3. Do not run on the track in cleats. Please use the carpeted entrances. (do not jump the fences as well)
If the weather looks inclement, please check our website at www.upperdublinsoccerclub.org to determine if the fields are closed. You can also sign up for a Rained Out text notice when fields are closed.
